Dear Doug,
I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for bring Elly into my
life. Since I picked her up at 7 weeks old; she is now 10 weeks; this
little pup in unbelievable.
She has been retrieving almost from the first day I brought her home and
is also pointing birds. She has adjusted well and is very well behaved
and smart. She follows me everywhere.
Elly was free of all parasites when I picked her up and in excellent
condition, thanks to your good care. You run a very clean and neat
operation.
Elly spends time in the house at night( in bed with me ) and in the
kennel during the day and is very quite and gets along with my other old
bird dogs.
I am really looking forward to hunting with her this fall, probably
Pheasant in Iowa and Quail later.
I would recommend your kennel to anyone in the future.
Thanks again. Keep up the good work.
Sincerely yours,
Mark Randell

Just got back from Iowa Pheasant hunt and must tell you about Elly's
hunting abilities. She is a natural. She is only 7 1/2 months and
hunted 2 1/2 days and never miss a lick. She pointed pheasant,
never busted a point, backed the other dogs and retrieved pheasant.
My friends were very impressed with Elly's confirmation.
I'll send you some pictures soon

Doug,
Just to let you know that Elly ( Lab) and
Mac ( Brittany ) and I just completed a fabulous hunting
season , Pheasant hunting Oklahoma and Iowa and Quail
hunting in Oklahoma. Elly thinks she is
an English pointer. She hunts hard and finds my birds and
holds point, backs other dogs, hunts downed birds and
retrieves almost all the birds everybody shoots. We hunted
in Iowa and the temperature was 2 degrees and 6" of snow .
She can hunt up to 3 day straight. Elly finished out at
75lbs and is solid muscle. My hunting buddies have never
seen a Labrador with these qualifications.
You have started a great line of Pointing Labs with Bullet
and Coco. Elly looks just like her dad. Elly will be 3
this March and has deserved some rest; but I'm going to run
her in field trails once every other week against other
pointing dogs to see what she will do. Summer will be her
rest time. They will be surprised.
Regards,
Mark Randell

Hi Doug,
I hope things are well at the kennel. Well, Gracie has grown A LOT! Just
thought I should fill you in on how she's doing. Gracie has doubled in
size and weight! She attracts a lot of attention too. We always get
commented on how beautiful she is. She loves
kids and likes to play hide and seek. She's gotten her last rounds of
vaccination and is very healthy. All in all, things are great! I've
attached some pictures of Gracie taken a couple of weeks ago. She's
grown a lot since then, we'll send you updated pictures later too.
Sincerely,
Jeremy, Sopha, and Gracie

Just thought I would give you an update on Max.
This dog is smarter than a whip. My training is going ok with him.
As so as BB season gets over Max and I will be in the training hot
and heavy. I took him out quail hunting 3 times but didn't get
him into any birds. Are quail #'s are still down in this part of
the state. Max will be 7 months old tomorrow and is right around
50-55 pounds. He looks alot like Bullet, but I think he has
Ripley's energy. We are so happy with him. I will keep you updated
on how his training is going though the spring and the summer.
Thanks

Doug and Kim,
We wanted to thank you for bringing Chloe Suzanne
(Suzi) into our lives. She has taken over our hearts and the
household. She is just a joy. She gets along well with our two
resident cats and even found her own kitty in the backyard. Now
THAT kitty has joined the household. Sometimes I think Chloe thinks
she is a cat.
Chloe has been to beginner obedience class and
did quite well. I hope to get her back into an intermediate class
but wanted her to be a puppy for a little longer. She has learned
her come, sit, down and stays. Of course, the cookies help a lot,
too. She is doing well with the potty training but sometimes WE miss
her signals to go out. But, she does do very well. She is so
entertaining. We could sit for hours and watch her play with her
toys.
We just wanted you to know how much we love and
cherish little Chloe. We can't remember or imagine life without her.
Thank you again,
Fay and Pete
